A community patrol monitors the community 24 hours a day.
Fire protection is provided by the full time Keowee Fire District.
Fully trained volunteers provide additional services to the fire district. Keowee Key enjoys an ISO fire rating of 5. This translates into lower fire insurance premiums.
Many Keowee Key residents are also qualified First Responders. Emergency response time is generally less than five minutes.
